Every year, the PMI Professional Awards Program recognizes outstanding academic achievement in the areas of research, journal papers, project management literature and academic programs.
The PMI Research Achievement Award honors an individual whose work has significantly advanced the concepts, knowledge and/or practices of project management through professionally conducted and authored project management research.
The Project Management Journal Paper of the Year Award recognizes a PMJ paper that has made a significant contribution to project management knowledge.
The PMI David I. Cleland Project Management Literature Award recognizes an author(s) for advancing knowledge, practices, procedures, concepts or techniques that demonstrate the value of using project management.
The PMI Continuing Professional Education Product Award/Academic Category recognizes exceptional professional development instruction and/or training material for project management students, trainees or practitioners.
The PMI Continuing Professional Education Provider Award/Academic Category recognizes exceptional skills in the delivery and implementation of a professional development program in project management.
